President and Founder
A Gordon Tunstall
A Gordon Tunstall founded Tunstall Consulting in 1980 to provide entrepreneurs with an unbiased advisory service developing growth capital in the institutional capital markets. Today, Tunstall Consulting has been recognized as one of the most successful, national consulting firms specializing in providing entrepreneurs with business strategy development and access to the institutional financial marketplace.

Mr. Tunstall implemented an hourly based fee model to ensure his advice was always aligned with those of his clients and not based on biases towards contingent commissions or capital structure. This unique industry approach removes many of the disincentives that work against the entrepreneur when retaining professional advice in accessing the capital markets.

Mr. Tunstall has been featured in Forbes, The Wall Street Journal and other national publications. Additionally, Mr. Tunstall has been honored as Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year for his dual successes as the founder of Tunstall Consulting as well as for his efforts in supporting entrepreneurship.

Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Tunstall attended Widener College prior to becoming a CPA for Coopers & Lybrand. Later he joined Provident National Bank (Now PNC Bank) as a loan officer, helped integrate John P. Maguire & Company (a New York based factoring company) into the bank and ultimately became Vice President and founded PNC's Asset Based Lending Department. Later, Mr. Tunstall served as CFO for Swann Oil Co., a Philadelphia-based fuel company with $25 million in sales, developing the acquisition and financing plan to grow the Company to more than $450 million in sales in just 4 years. Following Swann Oil, Mr. Tunstall formed Tunstall Consulting to help entrepreneurs plan their growth and properly capitalize their companies with the most appropriate financing structure.
Managing Director
Ben McCullough
Ben McCullough currently serves as a Managing Director of the Firm. Mr. McCullough is responsible for directing client engagements, including business plan development, introduction to the capital markets, through closing. Mr. McCullough is a leader in maintaining the Firm's relationships with the institutional capital markets and has responsibilities to evaluate potential Firm clients.
Mr. McCullough has directed a multitude of client engagements, securing financing from asset based lenders, mezzanine & subordinated debt providers, equity investments firms, and has assisted clients in the selection of underwriter representation for Initial Public Offerings.
Mr. McCullough also has experience across a variety of industries including; Healthcare Devices and Services, Business Services, Manufacturing, Consumer Products, Technology and Distribution. Prior to joining Tunstall Consulting, Mr. McCullough worked in the Chicago Office of Arthur Andersen, and was a manager at Huron Consulting Group. Mr. McCullough is a graduate of the Kelly School of Business at Indiana University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Director
Natalie Callahan
Natalie Callahan currently serves as a Director of the Firm. Her involvement in transactions covers the evaluation and creation of a growth strategy that is acceptable to the capital markets; completion of a well documented business plan; and negotiation with institutional sources in order to achieve optimal terms and structure of raised capital on behalf of Tunstall Consulting’s clients.
Mrs. Callahan has worked with a large variety of industries including high and low technology, Internet services, medical devices and services, restaurants, specialty retail, manufacturing, distribution, entertainment, and financial and business-to-business service entities. Capital raised for clients includes successful placement of bank term and revolver facilities, subordinated debt, mezzanine financing, various stages of venture capital, and public equity through an initial public offering (IPO) with first tier underwriting firms. Mrs. Callahan has also assisted in the packaging and negotiation of acquisitions for clients.
Mrs. Callahan is a graduate of the University of Florida, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.
